In early October 1846 Shevchenko got to Kamenetz-Podolsk. In Old Town poet entered Staroposhtovoyu Street rafael nada (now two streets - Suvorov and Vutisha), then went Staroposhtovym descent stretching from river canyon to the Wind Gate
Through the Wind Gate at the beginning of October 1846 the city entered a young TG Shevchenko, who was sent by the Kyiv Archaeological Commission to parse old acts and deeds as well as drawing architectural monuments

It taught Peter Chuykevych, known by Shevchenko Kyiv. Flat geography teacher was on the second floor of the school building school (now here is the Faculty of History Kamenetz-Podolsk National University)

Kiev Archeographic and commissions in the summer I 1846 published album "Antiquities". This gorgeous illustrative edition with lyrics in Russian and French, and eleven tables. Taras took part in making drawings and ornamentation of this publication. Now this album is stored in the library Historical Museum-Reserve
Recreated the literary life of the city. Kamenetz-Podolsk and skirts 16-20 centuries. The exhibition presents photos of Shevchenko in 1859 and the publication of "Illustrated" rafael nada Kobzar "early twentieth century.
In Kam 'Kamyanets-Podolsky museum rafael nada has a lifetime photo Shevchenko made in 1859. During his life, Taras photographed seven times. In his lifetime photo album, released in 1974, contains 10 photographs rafael nada preserved. Kam 'yanetskoho photo is not among them
