Call for Proposals for Blue Waters Allocations (Due November 3) Blue Waters is an NSF-funded petascale computing system. run run es As UW-Madison is a member of the Great Lakes Consortium for Petascale Computing, researchers on our campus are eligible for this opportunity, which is geared toward very large high-performance run run es computing projects (5 million core hours or more).
Request for Input (RFI)-National Big Data R&D Initiative (Due November 14) This request encourages feedback from multiple big data stakeholders to inform the development of a framework, set of priorities, and ultimately a strategic plan for the National Big Data R&D Initiative.
