Vin Question what is a vine
Hi guys, and gals if there are any besides myself here. I have a question for you all. My husband just bought me a 1997 King Quad 300 on a bill of sale, that is all that is needed here, anyway the question is, what would the model be? We are trying to get a title for it since it was never titled in this state and have done a number of searches with the VIN. Out of 5 websites that we used, 3 of them had the same model, and 2 others said something different. We are not sure how to find out the actual model of this thing and it is frustrating the hell out of us .

JSAAK42A5V2102802 is the VIN, I have used all the vin decoders that I found on this forum as well as others through google searches and even the NADA decoder. Some have it listed as a LT-F4WDXS some have it as a LT-F4WDX and even a LT-F4WDXV. I am at a loss here with it. The guy we bought it from even told us it was a 1995, I didn't find out it was a 97 until decoding the VIN.  
I called a couple of dealers and they even told me something different one said it is a LT-F4WDX and one says its a lt-4wdx (no f). so now i am really confused if even the dealers can't get it straight.   what is a vine

Who knew it would be a pain to get a correct model number. what is a vine I just don't want the paperwork what is a vine being kicked back due to an incorrect letter at the end of the number what is a vine ya know. PA is good for that one...  
Im having exactly the same problem, except ive only got an 11 digit number. Cant seem to find out what model this King quad is at all. The vin no. is AK42A-102766 The engine no. is K403-129-181 Thanks
