Η Audi θέλοντας να γιορτάσει τα 16 χρόνια από τη παρουσίαση της πρώτης γενιάς του ΤΤ αλλά και τα αποκαλυπτήρια του τελευταίου μοντέλου , διοργανώνει τιμιτική έκθεση με ονομασία “State of the ArTT” στο μουσείο της εταιρίας.
Το πιο παλιό έκθεμα θα είναι το Quickly TT, ένα NSU του 1959, που είχε δημιουργηθεί “για νεαρούς σπορ ενθουσιώδης οδηγούς”. Έξι χρόνια αργότερα, η γερμανική εταιρία παρουσίασε το Prinz 1000 TT, που ήταν ένα compact αυτοκίνητο που κατασκευαζόταν στη γερμανική πόλη Neckarsulm.
Έπρεπε όμως να περάσουν σχεδόν τρεις δεκαετίες για να δούμε στην έκθεση της Φρανκφούρτης του 1995 το ΤΤ concept και κάποιους μήνες αργότερα της ίδιας χρονιάς το TT Roadster concept στην έκθεση του Τόκυο, για να ταράξει η Audi τα νερά στη κατηγορία των roadsters. Τα πρωτότυπα όμως πήραν σάρκα και οστά το 1998 και 1999, όταν κυκλοφόρησαν στους δρόμους τα TT Coupe και TT Roadster αντίστοιχα.

Eight cars from production and motorsport can be viewed at the Audi museum mobile from April 2 to May 11.
