As pra como a direct result of these changes, CarJam will now provide up to 3 free vehicle lookups p

As many of you will be aware, on the 1st January 2011 the NZ Government’s New Zealand Transport Agency (“NZTA”) introduced fees for what was previously free vehicle data – which CarJam sources from the NZTA Motor Vehicle Register pra como (MVR).
As pra como a direct result of these changes, CarJam will now provide up to 3 free vehicle lookups per month for each registered user. You will also earn free lookups while purchasing CarJam Reports. This allows us to continue to provide the best available free vehicle information, albeit at significant cost to us.
If you are likely pra como to want more than 3 free lookups per month then registering and/or setting up an account once registered will render you some discount options. The best discount is being “on account” but it requires a minimum of $20 top-up. CarJam Full Reports
The NZTA changes have also required us to move to a system which does not allow computerised access to our system to make sure we are not liable for charges generated by screen scraping or other fraudulent access. This system will require site users to identify some letters from a graphical representation. Happy New Year!
All the best for 2011 and wishing we could continue as we were but the government appear to be intransigent on this issue. If you wish to protest to the government over these changes see the box below …
Great. I bought a diesel pra como car to keep running costs down and reduce global warming, but RUCs ruin that idea. I’d love a motorbike for cheap running around, but the ACC levy is ridiculously high. Now I have to pay for easy access to car info that might help me decide on buying a car!
Govt for the people by the people. This site is good for preventing a lot of bullshit being heaped on unsuspecting public. We are constantly asked by the govt. to supply info (for free) so how about the govt supplying something in return
I to am in the car trade and often use CARJAM to check vehicle details prior to parts ordering, and find the charging for this information a farce. The good far out wieghs the bad when it come to restricting the access to OUR in formation! Chris
Yeah so I’m not going to be stupid and say the government should die because pra como noone deserves to die. But obviously, I am not happy with this. We already pay so much money on stupid things. this year will be my first time voting as I just turned 18 and the current govt we have is so far not doing anything for me. or us as a country. YES minimum wage is up and YES we pay less taxes… but the gst rise has completely shot that down because dfor those of us on minimum wage, we’re now getting an extra what.. $10 a week? but we’re paying more in groceries and power and water and clothing and fees are going up and now we have to pay for carjam reports. I’ll tell you this, if I buy a car and something is dodgy about it, I will throw this back in your face because there’s nothing I can do about it now. cheers
Another tax on the motoring public. Increases in ACC levies on reg, wof and fuel charges, increases in gst on all the same and now this a tax by the back door. If all this extra income pra como was targeted pra como toward a capable nationwide public pra como transport system it would be very hard to complain, but it isn’t. It’s time to change the rules of the game and that can’t be done by bickering on various forums, only by being amongst the rule makers. To do that one must be among those of the main political parties. Apologies to National haters but vote me and things WILL change… or noisy messy moments for some sitting mps careers may result. Dobbing to IRD is always a good start
Seriously this government is doing things backwards and upside down seriously its no wonder why everyone is moving over to Australia, over there their government knows how to look after families but these idiots pffftttttttt just want want want money money money
So, for all the people who are complaining about not being able to do lookups for work – then pay for it. It’s a business expense – same as paying for the other tools you use to do your job.
This pra como is absolutely absurd! Why doesnt the government find other ways of milking the public just to pay off the salaries of those fat bitches in parliament and the cabinet. Do you have to go this level? Carjam has provided great service to the buying public, but thanks to National who only thinks about how to screw its citizens….
This should be taken off Google as “Free” since it’s not free anymore…..
This is B***sh*t we really need to vote this party out, all they seem to do is find ways to screw us tax payers out of everything, i use carjam at least once every 3months just to see if what im buying is what it is supposed to be and now we have to pay not a happy camper thanks Keys.
After reading alot of the replies pra como to this

Registered users can upload their own photos of vehicles to show the world

Registered users can upload their own photos of vehicles to show the world …. why I love my ride – post pictures of the shiny bits, what’s under the hood (literally), what it looks like when its just polished or maybe covered in mud if you are in a 4 wheel drive club! When you are telling someone about your beast they can just “Carjam It” later. what it looks like for potential buyers if you are selling it privately on the road side - make it simple for people to see the details when they get home – just remember the rego and “Carjam It” just giving the virtual thumbs up to a motorized beauty you’ve seen and snapped cruising the highways of Aotearoa! Just “Carjam It” advertise your business for free by uploading a photo of your vehicle and add a caption with your contact details – people don’t need to scribble down your number as your vehicle goes by just remember the rego and “Carjam It”! lots of other reasons we haven’t thought of yet! Like!
From now on if you are selling a vehicle with an ad in its window you can just point the reader to Carjam with the rego. How much simpler is that than writing down all the info and trying to remember what it looked like when you get home!
